President-elect Felipe Calderon presented his "Plan Mexico 2030" which calls for Mexicans to open participation in a project to tackle "extreme poverty." Calderon said if the government and society do their homework, Mexico can reach this year without extreme poverty and economic growth levels that place it among the 10 largest economies in the world.
This plan is a long term project, whose goal is to reach 2030 in a country much like the one pictured José María Morelos , where all are equal before the law, separation of powers in which moderate affluence and poverty, ignorance and move away, robbery and theft.
Calderón Plan is based on five areas that correspond to those presented during the electoral campaign:
1. Rule of Law and Public Safety,
2. Competitive Economy and Employment Generation,
3. Equal Opportunities
4. Sustainable Development and
5. Effective democracy and responsible foreign policy.
Mexico 2030 The plan aims to increase per capita income of $ 8,000 to $ 30,000 for 2030. Is also sought for Mexico to continue with the example Spain, where leaders agreed to "make tourism the engine of development", and Brazil, whose leaders "built consensus to develop the sector of production of meat." politician Carlos Medina was appointed by the future president coordinator of the "thematic forums" development plan.
Will this plan right decision the first the future president of Mexico?, Time will give us the answer.
